The 39th Lancaster Hall Hotel Skat Tournament

We welcomed seven players to our July tournament, and played four sessions of 18 boards each. Mike Hawkins could only play the first three rounds, and Alban Forster the last three, so organiser Mike Tobias played the first and last, but sat out the rest to allow two tables of three throughout.

John McLeod and Mike Hawkins were very close in first and second place after three rounds, but as Mike had to leave, John finished a comfortable winner with 2497pts. Mike hung on to second place (1932) with Jonathan Norris in third (1907).
