Our next Skat tournament will be on Saturday, 23rd of February, at the Young Chelsea Bridge Club (32 Barkston Gardens, London SW5 0EN); 5 minutes walk from Earl's Court tube station.

Planned are four sessions in duplikat format, but I will switch to freely dealt play, in case 11 or 14 players turn up, as I do not want any player (apart from myself) to sit out. Players of all levels are welcome. If you cannot play all sessions, please let me know in advance. There will be a lunch break and short breaks between the sessions. The bar serves lunch, drinks and snacks for cheap prizes.

Registration will be as usual from 11:00 to 11:15 and play will start at 11:30. The entry fee will be £9. We should finish by 19:00.

Please let me know by Thursday 21st of February whether you intend to play, but you are of course welcome to come along spontaneously. The more players, the more prizes there will be!

If you are delayed on the day, please let me know your expected time of arrival as soon as possible. You can contact me by e-mail at mariagragert@web.de or by phone or text at 07856247294.

I am looking forward to seeing you all there.

Best wishes,

Maria

What is "Duplikat" Skat: The same hands are played at all the tables. After each session your results are compared with those of the other players in your seat, who held the same cards. The higher the score, the more matchpoints you will score.
