Without 10

Post by Mike Tobias » Sat Jun 16, 2012 9:21 am

In the first non-synchron tournament in October 2009, a prize was offered for the hand won against the most matadors, won by John McLeod.

Sitting Middlehand he held:

Clubs A 8 7
Spades A 10
Hearts 7
Diamonds A K Q 7

Skat C10, D10

Returned to Skat CA,DA. Game Hearts

Forehand led a diamond to John's 10, he then played the club 10 and the A,10 of spades. They all carried giving him enough points. Interestingly, the game also would have made if played from the hand.
